The Bike Rally
Last summer I had the distinct privilege of accompanying about 250 riders and about 75 crew on an incredible journey from Toronto to Montreal to raise money for the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA). I worked with the road safety crew so I was able to witness every rider along the route. The incredible courage, determination, the sweat and the pride that shone in every one of their faces when they reached their destination.
I was so moved by all these men and women, from all walks of life, ranging in age from early 20’s to late 60’s, who took the time out of their lives to expend such energy to help total strangers by raising money for PWA.
It was those people and their dedication that inspired me to make it a personal challenge to take part in the Friends for Life 10th Anniversary Bike Rally this year as a rider participant.
This is the part where I need your help, as a rider you are required to raise a minimum of $2,200 to participate (I would like to exceed that if I can). If you would like to lend your support, please follow this link or the link in the side bar to the right to my sponsorship page. Every little bit helps, and helps so many.
Thank you.
